EIGER LODGE CHIC, Grindelwald

Eiger Lodge Chic, situated 1 km from Grindelwald and 70 km from Belp, offers different room categories suitable for solo travelers, couples, and groups. Each room features a shower and WC. Options include double rooms with a box-spring bed, TV, and a large window. Family rooms for four people include a box-spring bed, bunk bed, TV, large window front, and a south-facing balcony with partial mountain views. Prices do not include visitor's tax.

The Eiger Lodge features the Grill·Bar, where guests can order food. New to the Grill·Bar is local ice cream. There is also the Rooftop Terrace. The Bar serves cold beer and drinks. Breakfast is available daily from 7 to 10 am and includes local bread, cheese, eggs, coffee, and fruits. The restaurant offers Tandori Chicken and vegetarian options. The Grill·Bar is open for food orders from 4 - 9 pm. Every Tuesday, there is a Game Night in the Grill Bar.

Guests can access the Grindelwald sports centre, featuring a swimming pool with a 'Black Hole' slide, a children's swimming pool, a sauna oasis (Finnish sauna, sanarium, steam bath, Kneipp foot bath), fun showers, a cold water plunge pool, and a relaxation room with outdoor area and terrace. There is an indoor ice-rink for ice-skating, ice-hockey, and ice-stick throwing, a curling hall with 4 rinks (from October to March), a boulder Area with 170m2 climbing area and an indoor rope park. Winter sports enthusiasts can access 213 kilometers of prepared pistes and 100 km of winter hiking trails. The Mürren-Schilthorn snow sports area reaches the Schilthorn.

Eiger Lodge Chic is located near the new Eiger Express cable car. From Interlaken, travel 20 minutes towards Grindelwald; the Eiger Lodge is 200 meters from the road. Further parking is available in the nearby Jungfrau Railways car park. Intercity trains run from Basel directly to Interlaken Ost, and from Zurich and Geneva via Berne to Interlaken Ost, followed by a regional train to Grindelwald. Trains run every half hour. Take the bus (lines 121 + 123) from the village centre to the Grund terminal every 15 minutes during the season.

Ski tickets are available at the reception desk. For 2-night stays, guests can rent winter sports equipment for 2 days and enjoy a cheese fondue on the mountain. The hotel also offers bike rooms with small repair and hosing down areas, rooms with the possibility to dry and heat shoes, and washing machines/tumblers for sportswear. The hotel offers family packages for each season and a Hiking Package that includes 4 nights in a Chic room and a Jungfrau Travel Pass. Tickets for the Jungfraujoch are available directly from reception.
